Thanks to everyone for your emails of encouragement. Well, we are all excited here. We begin the big campaign today with a childrens festival in an orphanage. There are so many children in Ukraine who are stuck in orphanages and whose parents just don't want them or aren't able to care for them. The poverty and hopelessness is unbelieveable. This children's festival in the orphanage is a wide open oportunity to let these kids know that even though no one else seems to know they exist, God loves them and wants to help them.
Tonight I will be teaching in the Calvary Chapel here, so pray that I will know what God wants me to say. I will be speaking through an interpreter and am told that humor does not translate well, so my teaching is likely to be very short. :-)
Tomorrow we do another children's festival in the middle of town and a concert at night and the schedule is the same for Saturday.
Sunday we will be ministering again in church and then get a little break until it all starts up again on Monday. Please pray for strength and wisdom on all our parts. And please pray for the harvest. The Lord is changing not only the lives of the people here, but our lives as well. I am very proud of every person we brought with us on this trip and you should be proud of them to.
Some of you may not have received the emails sent previously because if you sort your email by date, this computer said that it was December 1998. I have no idea why it said that, so you may want to look in that date for my previous emails.
Thanks for your prayers. I have been praying for you this morning as I have not bee able to sleep since 3 a.m.
God Bless you and see you soon.
